North Blocking Food Supply To South-West After Herdsmen
Disrupted Farming."

"It was unfortunate that after Fulani herdsmen had disrupted
farming in the South-West, their northern compatriots could go
ahead to impose a food trade restriction on the South-West."
“For a long time we have been telling our people to prepare for
this. We cannot continue to depend on food from the North. We
had been feeding ourselves for centuries but they are the ones
that have now prevented us from farming on our land because of
the attacks on our farmers."
“But let them know the implication of what they are doing. What
if the South says fuel will not be sold to the North? What will
they do? Where will they get fuel?”
